Stephen Strasburg has a torn elbow ligament and most likely needs Tommy John surgery, bringing the pitcher’s promising rookie season to an abrupt end. Experts say it’ll be the best Tommy John surgery in the past 40 years, doesn’t need the prep work that normal surgeries need, and will be worth the millions of millions of dollars in bonuses it will cost.
